Andrew Cuomo and Lindsey Boylan... a late blooming scandal

Media bias takes many forms. One can be described as gatekeeping bias and consists of not reporting facts that tend to disprove claims or beliefs shared by the outlet or journalist, or that can be damaging to a public figure they support.

Sexual harassment accusations against NY Governor Andrew Cuomo have been covered extensively by media outlets of all political orientations, but when they first surfaced (December 13, 2020) some outlets chose not to report them for a period so long as to raise questions about their motivations.

Here you can see, in white, all the days CNN and CBS News went without reporting Lindsey Boylan's sexual harassment accusations against Andrew Cuomo.
