Left-leaning media or conservatives: who is really obsessed with QAnon?
The group/political movement QAnon has been in the news a lot in recent years, mostly used to paint all non-moderate right-leaning voters as cult members. US and global media have made it a point to tie conservatives to this group by claiming that the right in general is obsessed with it. The accusation is that QAnon's messaging has gone global (like CNN wrote) and that it has infiltrated the conservative world and outlets like PBS and BBC, among others, amplified QAnon's message all over the US and the world.
So we decided to set out and test this idea. Are conservatives and conservative media really obsessed with this group? Or is liberal and mainstream media in general just pushing this notion? If the former was true, we would see an overwhelming amount of coverage on the right, so let's see who really amplified QAnon the most in the last year...
